Komori Currency
The paper currency we use every day is printed through the combined use of offset presses, intaglio presses, letter-press systems and other sophisticated techniques. Paper currency printing, in fact, requires the careful synthesis of many printing systems and technologies.
Since 1957, Komori, the sole manufacturer of currency printing presses in Japan, has developed a range of products that serve this exclusive market to print amongst others Euro’s and passports. In addition these systems are now used for printing a range of securities other than banknotes.
The Banknote Series of machines symbolizes Komori's leadership in the development of printing technology.
