Komori calendar 2023 January and February taken by Jirawat Plekhongthu

The 2023 Komori calendar is a special calendar celebrating Komori's 100^th anniversary. For this addition, vivid and beautiful floral images were selected from the works of three distinguished international artists that are appropriate for the 100^th anniversary. The calendar's design is a fantasy world of flowers covered with ink and vivid colours. In this January and February photo, is on the ink parts is a matt varnish applied, and on the flower is coating applied.

The photo of January and February was taken by Jirawat Plekhongthu. He became a photographer during his last year in university. He took a photography course and found himself moved, discovering that the beauty of nature and animals could be shared with everyone through photographs, and was determined to become a freelance photographer. He is exploring how he can capture subjects and scenes. He is an artist with the Fine Art Gate Gallery in Geneva, Switzerland.

The whole photo series from which this photo was selected, was inspired by the quote “The past is no longer there. The future is not yet there. There’s only the present moment.” And is called “Aqueous blossoms”.
